1. Prepare Tools and Materials: Prepare SPC wall panels, special adhesive, edge trimmer, edge trimming blade, V-shaped blade, heat gun, electric drill, level, leveler, masking tape, measuring tape, pencil, screwdriver, hammer, utility knife, sealant, etc.
2. Wall Surface Preparation: Ensure the wall surface is flat, dry, clean, and free of cracks, oil stains, and loose materials. If the wall surface is uneven, leveling is required.
3. Measurement and Cutting: Use a measuring tape and pencil to measure the dimensions of the wall surface. Cut the SPC wall panels according to the measurements, ensuring accurate dimensions. A utility knife or electric saw can be used for cutting.
4. Apply Adhesive: Apply the special adhesive evenly to the back of the SPC wall panel. Ensure the adhesive is applied evenly, avoiding excessive or insufficient application. A dot application method can be used, with each dot spaced 10-20 centimeters apart.
5. Installing Wall Panels:
- Stand the stone crystal wall panel, after applying adhesive, upright against the wall. Adjust the vertical angle of the wall panel according to the vertical line of a spirit level to ensure vertical installation.
- After adjustment, use a leveling tool to level the two wall panels, ensuring a tight and flat joint.
- Attach the wall panels to the wall one by one, ensuring a tight joint between panels to avoid gaps.
6. Installing Inside and Outside Corners: At inside and outside corners, use an edge trimmer and V-shaped cutter to cut the stone crystal wall panel to match the shape of the corner. Then, use a heat gun to heat the cut wall panel to soften it, bend it into the shape of the corner, and finally glue it to the corner.
7. Finishing: Use sealant to finish the edges and joints of the wall panels to improve aesthetics and sealing.
8. Cleaning and Inspection: After installation, clean the construction site and inspect the installation quality of the wall panels to ensure that the wall panels are installed firmly, flat and without gaps.
