Classification by Process and Appearance
1. Simulated Texture Type
- Wood Grain PS Wall Panels: Surface covered with PVC wood grain film or heat transfer wood grain layer, with clear and natural textures, such as walnut, oak, and Nordic ash, suitable for Nordic, Neo-Chinese, and Japanese styles.
- Stone/Brick Texture PS Wall Panels: Simulate the texture of marble, sandstone, and cultural bricks, presenting a textured surface through relief carving. Commonly used for living room background walls and commercial space walls to create a rugged or light luxury atmosphere.
- Fabric/Leather Texture PS Wall Panels: Imitate the soft texture of linen, suede, etc., with a gentle touch, suitable for private spaces such as bedrooms and studies, adding a sense of warmth.
2. Three-Dimensional Shape Type
- Relief Wall Panels: Three-dimensional patterns are pressed out using molds, such as flowers, geometric lines, and abstract art shapes. Can be used directly as wall decoration, replacing traditional plaster moldings or wainscoting.
- 3D Interlocking Wall Panels: Modular design, multiple panels are spliced together to form three-dimensional geometric patterns (such as honeycomb, cube, wave), suitable for modern minimalist or industrial style spaces, enhancing visual depth.
3. Functional Composite Types
- Sound Insulation PS Wall Panels: Foam layer + damping layer composite structure, sound insulation up to 25-35dB, suitable for home theaters, music rooms, and street-facing residences.
- Self-illuminating PS Wall Panels: Built-in LED light strips or translucent film, achieving uniform light emission through the light transmittance of the PS panel, commonly used for feature walls, entryways, and commercial display walls, creating a technological feel or ambient lighting.
Classification by Installation Method
- Snap-on Wall Panels: With male and female groove design on the edges, they snap together directly without glue, suitable for quick installation, such as rental renovations or temporary showrooms.
- Adhesive Wall Panels: Coated with environmentally friendly adhesive on the back, directly pasted onto the wall surface, suitable for smooth substrates, such as latex-painted walls and tiled surfaces.
- Keel-type wall panels: fixed with metal or wooden keels, can leave an air layer to enhance thermal insulation and sound insulation effects, and are often used in scenarios where the wall surface is uneven or where pipes need to be hidden.
